WSK Euro Series comes back to Italy, at the La Conca International Circuit in particular, and our Racing Team is engaged in the most crucial event of this WSK Championship.
Some of our drivers are competing to fight for obtaining an important result in the most spectacular categories.
In KZ1 category Rick Dreezen is the ranking's leader with 106 scores and a main role, after the double success gained in Sarno, on the occasion of the opening event of the season, and at Val D'argenton, where he got important scores.
Dreezen must have a look first of all at his teammate Marco Ardigò, with a score of 56.
In KZ2 category Mirko Torsellini is taking the second position, only nine positions far from the leader. New new come driver Torsellini at Val D'argenton, on his debut with our colours obtained a final success, giving confirmation of his good feeling with the Racer EVRR chassis, RVXX engines and all the team.
In KF2 category the fight is a little bit more difficult as for the Championship, actually the first Racing Team's official drivers in classification is Flavio Camponeschi with a fifth position.
For sure there are still lot of chances to recover, moreover the technical material that drivers have at their disposition is winning.
Some our drivers, particularly those who are engaged in their first European season, such as Federico Panetta, Ling Kang and Andy Chang, will have the opportunity now to show off their knowledge of the track which they could perform during the Master Series. So, now that they have much more experience at International level they own a higher potential than the first competitions of the season.
Armand Philo Paz is more and more prepared and everybody in the Racing Team is sure that he could soon get an important result.
During the weekend at La Conca it will be hot and no changing weather conditions will influence the competition. It will allow Petjoi, Fioravanti, Mac Leod and Kasai to express themselves at best, with no changing weather that could once more influence their performances.
WSK Euro event will also be a very important step for our sport, in terms of safety. Hereunder is the official press release of the new signalling system at the track: FROM F.1 THE NEW TRACKSA SYSTEM. I
Its name is Tracksa, the new luminous signalling system conceived for motorsport circuits. It offers the opportunity to reduce drivers' information and reaction times while competing, in order to improve safety standards. New tools include luminous towers reproducing all flag colours commonly used at track, flashing. Such luminous information, before marshall intervention, is much more efficacious for drivers. WSK Promotion decided to introduce the system in the kart competitions, and La Conca will be the first track employing the technology. This is one more element making karting closer and closer to F.1, where the system has been successfully employed.
Concerning the calendar of this event, qualifying heats will start on Friday 22nd from 12.45, the final-1 of KZ1 will be held on Saturday 23rd at 6pm.
The finals on Sunday will be live on Rai Sport Channel from 2.15pm (still to be confirmed).
