FDA DRIVERS AT OUR FACTORY

The drivers of the Ferrari Driver Academy, led by their Manager Massimo Rivola, visited our factory last Wednesday (May 17th).

The partnership between FDA and Tony Kart Racing Team has already been carried out through thetraining camp that saw drivers and staff working on the track and in other training activities specially focused to select and prepare new talents. A first result of this important work involving us, has led the promising Marcus Armstrong, our driver since 2014, to be included in the FDA 2017 program.
On this occasion, the young drivers of the Ferrari Driver Academy, Charles Leclerc (leader of the F2 rankings), Antonio Fuoco, Guan Yu Zhou, Enzo Fittipaldi and Marcus Armstrong had the opportunity to see where the Tony Kart chassis they employ on the training camps are manufactured.
During the visit to our chassis division, Massimo Rivola and his drivers appreciated the way OTK group’s frames are designed and built entirely within the company. This production philosophy, 100% made in OTK, is well known and shared by our partners.
For some of the FDA drivers, the visit to Tony Kart was a great opportunity to find out how it works in reality, which they considered with admiration and interest. Armstrong and Fuoco also had the chance to meet the Racing Team’s friends again.

Massimo Rivola – Ferrari Driver Academy Manager
"Visiting OTK is always a very interesting experience for me, even the guys were impressed by the factory and the high technology level employed. Undoubtedly OTK is something unique, a karting reference in the world and an Italian excellence. "
