The SKUSA Super National big show started with the first sessions of free practices.
On the civic circuit settled near the Rio hotel in Las Vegas, the Tony Kart Racing Team has immediately proved to dispose of an excellent technical potential in all the categories.
The eagerly awaited Michael Schumacher, bearing the Tony Kart Racing Team colours, has come up to everybody’s expectations, showing off his class in the Super Pro category.
In the first session of free practices on Friday Schumacher immediately centered the second lap time with 42”973. In the remaining sessions, the great and hard work our technical staff carried out, allowed both Marco Ardigò and Gary Catt to easily enter the top five.
The top-category-day ended with a “Super session”, in which the drivers made over twenty laps. In the Super session our driver Marco Ardigò centered the 3rd lap time with 41”715, Catt the 8th and Schumacher the 16th.
In KF2 Yu Kanamaru (best lap 43”236) was the fastest driver on two occasions, the Brazilian Silva (best lap 43”453) and the American Menezes (best lap 43”646) got excellent results.
Among the fastest drivers of the whole group we can find the drivers who will be racing with USA coulours, such as Alex Speed (best lap 43”495) and the idol of the Indy Car Buddy Rice.
Tomorrow we will get to the heart of the event with the qualifying session and the first heats.
