Success in KF2, podium in Super KF e win in competition 1 of KZ1 category.

A weekend at the top of any category our Racing Team raced, this is the result of the 3rd round of the Euro Series event that took place in Zuera, Spain.
Ignazio D’Agosto won the very final of the KF2 category, this way he he still is at the top of the absolute classification. Flavio Camponeschi gained an important podium in SKF category, won by Convers driving a Kosmic-Vortex. Catt and Ardigò achieved, respectively, the 4th and 5th position; thus the classification aligned not less than 5 made-in-Prevalle karts all in the first fifth places (4 of Tony Kart-Vortex and 1 of Kosmic Kart-Vortex)!

The Spanish transfer to Zuera, considered the WSK Euro Series turning point, has been offering an important success for our team, in KF2 category with Ignazio D’Agosto and great results with the podium of Camponeschi in Super KF category; nonetheless the top-five position of all our drivers, Catt e Ardigò.
At the end of KF2 rounds Ignazio D’Agosto gained three clear wins, gaining this way the opportunity to start from the pole. The success was missed due to a little fault occured while driving on a wet path. Despite the fact, our Racing Team recovered in the very final, where D’Agosto raced his Racer EVR in an extraordinary way. He soon took the lead and ended up the competition with a good advantage on the other pursuer, the Spanish Barrabeige. Yu Kanamaru, in the middle of this fight to the championship, gained the top positions, too, placing  sixth, at the same way  the performance of Josè Olmedo was smashing, once more talking about points.
Not only the success, but the figures too are confirming the good job done, actually in the very final seven up to ten positions owns to Prevalle’s chassis powered by as many Vortex RAD engines.

The Super KF, the master class, gave the confirmation of such control that since the beginnig of the Series’ events our team have been showing. Actually, since the qualifying rounds our drivers led the classification, all being in the top superpole, also gaining during the rounds the first three starting lines. Ardigò jumped in the third position, Camponeschi in the fourth and Catt in the ninth one. During the prefinal our drivers fought for the success and achieved respectively the third, fourth and fifth position with Catt, Ardigò and Camponeschi. The race was won by the “cousin” chassis of Convers, the Kosmic-Vortex. In this important category, too, our colours got the very first places and in the competition  won by Convers, not less than four chassis manufactured by our factory got the first fifth positions, between them four Vortex RAD.
Decisive figures are proving the technical quality of the material and the effectiveness of the project realized by our manufacturing-partner Vortex.
Classifications are also eloquent, in the Super KF category Armand Convers is the leader, followed by Ardigò and by the other two Tony Kart-Vortex drivers, Catt and Camponeschi, respectively fourth and fifth. Moreover our team is in second place of the Euro Series’ classification, behind the Kosmic Kart Racing Department.
At the same way extraordinary is the result coming from the KF2 category with Ignazio D’Agosto at the top, the Tony Kart Racing Team leader and later on, the Tony Kart Junior Racing Team.

TECHNICAL FOCUS

OTK KART PARTS: Aerodynamics flaps
Amongs the benchmarks of our chassis performances’ improvement on the fast Zuera’s circuit, is the prestigious OTK M4 side-box. This precious technical weapon was employed together with the upper aerodynamic flap. It has to be reminded that this component comes from a deep study and reaserch made by our OTK Kart Parts engineers in the wind tunnel and was conceived with the aim of both reducing the drag coefficient and of ameliorating the synergy between driver and kart.
Widely tested during the most important competitions, this aerodynamics component is adjustable in millimeters thanks to appropriate rails already provided for the front bumper of the OTK M4 side-boxes.
