In the weekend of June 21st-24th, the Tony Kart Racing Team will be engaged on the South Garda Karting of Lonato for the one-shot round of the WSK Open Cup

More than two months after the last round of the WSK Super Master Series, which crowned our Marco Ardigò 2018 Champion of the KZ2 category in Sarno, the WSK Promotion is ready to begin a new challenge that will open the summer season of the international karting. It’s the WSK Open Cup, a one-shot event that will engage the Tony Kart Racing Team on the weekend of June 21st-24th at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato.

On the occasion of this event, our lineup of drivers on track will be the following: on the front line in the master class, KZ2, there will be the multi-champion Marco Ardigò, ready to make the best of his experience at the wheel of his Tony Kart 401S Racer powered by Vortex. Together with him, his teammates Matteo Viganò, Alessio Piccini and Simo Puhakka: the goal is to start the race weekend immediately on the right foot so as to reach the finals on Sunday in the best possible condition, to aim for gaining the top-ranking positions. In KZ2 class, during the Lonato race, the young Italian driver Alessandro Giardelli will make his debut in the green colour.

Our Tony Kart 401S Racer chassis in single-speed version, instead, will be brought on track in the OK category by the couple Noah Milell - David Vidales and in the OKJ by Laurens Van Hoepen, Sebastian Montoya, Josep Maria Martì and the newcomer Nikita Bedrin who, on the occasion of the recent European round of Ampfing, in Germany, debuted for the first time with the colors of our Racing Team. Last but not least, we will have on track the fought 60 Mini class, in which the young Rashid Al Dhaheri, Yuanpu Cui, Jimmy Helias, Igor Cepil and Jules Caranta will run at the wheel of their Tony Kart Neos and will have the opportunity to show what they have been learning in the first part of the 2018 season.

The WSK Open Cup weekend, on the South Garda Karting in Lonato, can be followed since the free practice on Thursday through the live timing service available at www.wskarting.it .
