THE TONY KART RACING TEAM FIGHTING FOR THE TOP POSITIONS IN ANGERVILLE

Thanks to the technical material and the great talent of the drivers, the Tony Kart Racing Team is the author of good performances in the unpredictable conditions during the second round of WSK Euro Series

In the second round of WSK Euro Series, the weather conditions complicate things, but our drivers prove to be able to be up to the situation and do well, gaining great experience.

The speed always shown by Nikita Bedrin is not enough to conquer a result within his reach at the end of the weekend, but the Russian driver manages to keep the fight for the OKJ Title alive, considering the small gap of 16 points from the rating’s leader. Bedrin, after taking the lead in three free practices sessions, runs a good pre-final recovering 3 positions. Involved in the brawl at the starting line, he is forced to the 19th place, where, however, shows an excellent pace, proved by the best lap, allowing him to finish ninth.
Good performance for Alexander Dunne too, sixth in Final after fighting for the podium and playing a leading role in prefinal.

In OK class, Matheus Morgatto is constantly among the best drivers: fast since free practices, with two third places and a best lap in the heats, the Brazilian driver makes the most of the Tony Kart Racer 401 R and the Vortex engine, also with no grip at all, on such a demanding circuit. The fifth place in pre-final paves the way towards the fourth place achieved in the decisive race, ending a very important weekend.
On the other hand, bad luck unfortunately deprives Ryan Li Mingyang of the opportunity to show off his great deal of progress: our standard-bearer is forced to withdraw in the Final after starting from the backline and recovering positions until getting close to the topten.

In such a special weekend, also the 60 Mini category gets great satisfaction. The speed shown in the free practices by Cui Yuanpu, Jules Caranta and Andres Cardenas and the pole position centered by Francesco Marenghi of the Gamoto team immediately prove the versatility of the Rookie EV chassis, confirmed, subsequently, even in wet conditions, with the victory in the heat and the best lap signed by Irfan Coskun. Jimmy Helias is ninth in the final after finishing second and leading his prefinal. Also James Egozi is fighting for top positions in prefinal and in final, where he closes tenth by recovering nine positions.

The Tony Kart Racing Team does not stop and will be back on track next weekend on the occasion of the FIA Karting European Championship. The KZ and KZ2 categories will be racing in Wackersdorf, Germany.
